Since the aluminum layer of PEX-Al-PEX tubing makes it thicker than standard PEX tubing, PEX-Aluminum-PEX Tubing is not compatible with HydroPEX Fittings, ProPEX Fittings, or Sharkbite Fittings. You will need to use either the PEX-Al-PEX Compression Fittings or MultiPress (MLC) Fittings with this type of tubing.
