PEX cannot connect directly to a water heater. You will need a water heater adapter connected to the PEX, and the other end of the adapter will connect to the actual water heater. HydroPEX Water Heater Adapters connect using the HydroPEX Clamping Tool and HydroPEX Stainless Steel Clamps.
