What is a damper used for?

Dampers are used in HVAC to cut off the heating or cooling to a certain room. This allows the temperature to be regulated within a room or within the whole house. Honeywell Retrofit Round Dampers are easy to hook up in an existing system and installation can be done with conventional thermostat wire.
