What is the difference between different colors of PEX?

Different colors of PEX Tubing are structurally and functionally exactly the same, the only difference is the outside color. For PEX Plumbing tubing, there are typically three colors: red, white and blue. When installing, red is used for hot water and blue is used for cold water. This is a great way to see exactly which pipes go where, especially when there are a lot of pipes in one place. If you don't want to use the colors, the white PEX Tubing can be used for all of your plumbing needs.
